What inspired you to become a photographer?
I discovered photography relatively late in life, in my thirties. From then till now it is a part of my everyday life, my love and passion, my way of living. There was not a certain moment when I felt that, it just happened as love at first sight.
Whats inspires your photography?
I am inspired by the people around me, their life and stories, so I am always trying to be in the moment and capture that moment when it comes. For that reason I enjoy street photography and taking portraits of older people whose every wrinkle tells a story.
What does it mean to you?
When I take my camera and go out for taking photos, whether I am somewhere in the countryside or in the city , I escape to my small intimate world.
How did the project start?
I love spontaneity in photography as I do in my life. All depends from the moment.
How did you approach the subject matter?
When I notice a subject which I want to take photo of, I approach it very carefully from distance to maintain spontaneity.
What cameras did you shoot with and why?
At the moment I use Canon EOS Kiss x3 but my wish is to buy new camera, as soon as possible.
Any anecdotes you can share?
Throughout this 15 years there was a lot anecdotes, mostly funny ones. Negative experience is rare.
What are you looking for in street photography?
Right moment, beauty, spontaneity and sincerity, then all the rest.
Any closing comments?
Thank you. Every moment that has not strongly touched your soul, is lost.
